Stephen Hatley (Lt. Colonel, USAF, Retired) joined Night Readiness LLC in November 2006 as Product Manager.  He served 20 years as a USAF Special Operations helicopter pilot flying the MH-53J PAVELOW, logging over 4,000 hours military flying time.  In addition to his many USAF operational tours, Steve has training tour experience at the Air Force’s Special Operations/Rescue formal school as an Instructor Pilot.

Stephen Hatley has extensive Night Vision Goggle flight experience, a formal training background in both flight and ground instruction as well as an R & D background in support of night operations.  These include:

• Chief of MH-53J Academics, Kirtland AFB, NM.  Directed all ground instruction and simulator training for the MH-53J aircrew qualification course.

• Chief, Wing Flight Safety, Kirtland AFB, NM.  Directed implementation of the wing’s flight safety program for all aviation assets.

• Chief, Night Vision Training Integration, Air Force Research Laboratory, Mesa, AZ. Directed R&D efforts of government and contractors in support of night vision training research efforts and the development of training courseware. 

• Military aviation experience:
Command Pilot with over 4,000 flight hours flying the UH-1N, CH/HH-3E, MH-53J

• Civilian Flight Experience:
ATP / Multi-engine ratings with over 3,500 hours
